Geneva is committed to equip and develop our student members while they are with us, and send them out to serve and minister wherever they go. How does this happen? First, by just getting to know each other. This happens after worship services, at potlucks, in homes, at 20's and 30's gatherings, and in discipleship groups where students grow together in study and understanding. Students become integral parts of Geneva, not only being served, but serving in worship, youth ministries, outreach activities, and leadership.

Students were asked: What sorts of things have occurred at or through Geneva that have been most beneficial to your growth as a Christian in this stage of your life? A few of their answers follow:
“We college students, who are constantly exposed to the competition of getting ahead of the rest in class, of 'doing your own thing' and 'having your free time', learn through model and experience, the necessity of service within the church and the necessity of service within the Christian walk.”
“I have to say that the most important thing for me was finding a community of Christians that could not only hang out and have fun but also seriously discuss theological topics. I felt this most strongly in my discipleship group. It was encouraging to talk to Christians who were at the same level as me and sometimes struggling with the similar issues. I also enjoyed the regular student dinners.”
“the true mix of generations interacting at Geneva, the COMMUNITY that exists there, discipleship groups, being a real part of the morning service.”
