Our story

Geneva is a lively congregation of students and community members located near the campus of the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Begun in 1967 as a handful of students sharing worship, occasional meals, and Bible study, Geneva has grown into a congregation serving the campus, the city, and the world. While still committed to student outreach, today Geneva ministers to all ages through weekly services, educational programs, youth events, monthly potlucks, and in-home small groups.

Because many members come to Madison only for their years of academic study, Geneva seeks to be a welcoming, enfolding, equipping, and sending church. Whether you are part of the university community, a resident of the Madison area looking for a church home, or just exploring the Christian faith, we welcome your presence with us.

The mission of Geneva Campus Church is to glorify God by

  • Embodying the gospel of Jesus Christ in our life together.
  • Equipping each other to serve Christ's Kingdom.
  • Engaging the university, the city, and the world with Christ's love and redemption.
